365 Cards - Year 3 - Day 2

Whooo Hoooo! We're into year 3 at 365 Cards and I'm up for another wonderful three hundred and sixty-five days! Hope you join us for the ride! So I get to set you up for the Day 2 challenge which is to use the answers to 5 questions to design your card:
1. Favorite color
2. Favorite design technique
3. Favorite embellie
4. Least favorite color
5. Favorite card size (dimensions)

Anything else goes once you've used the above questions to inspire the design of your card.

So here's what I came up with...

My answers are:
1. PINK - used a bright shade (Melon Mambo) on this one
2. coloring with copics - not a lot of that on this little sheep, but still fun making the clouds and coloring the gray! I'm also a fan of embossing which I used on this one...reminds me of a wool sweater weave
3. ribbon - used a shade darker pink on this one - love me some satin ribbon
4. purple - when I was in 2nd grade this was my favorite color but not so much now...
5. 5.5" square

As usual I'm also inspired by some other challenges for this one:
1. BasicGrey Challenges - sketch and BG item: the paper is Green at Heart
2. Bee Crafty - DOWNLOADS - spring florals + digi
3. By The Cute And Girly - Springtime
4. Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - embossing &/or paper piecing
5. If The Shoe fits... Scrap It! - use purple
6. Incy Wincy Designs - spring is in the air
7. Lollipop Crafts - think spring
8. Paper Playtime - digi Monday + anything goes
9. Pear Tree Designs - ribbon
10. Sentimental Sundays - anything goes + sentiment
11. The Crazy Challenge - Here comes Spring

One last thing before you go! I also have a creation for this week's challenge at the D2D Card Ideas blog. This week the challenge is to CASE a DT's card. I choose Debbie F's Beary Sweet card. You also will need to change 2 or more items on your creation. I basically CASE'd the style and the layout. Here's my creation:
I used the new Neighbors image and used my favorite color again...PINK! I colored this one with Prismacolor pencils and OMS, and distressed the papers with Soft Suede ink. Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. 2 Sisters Challenge Blog - teddy bear picnic
2. Anything Goes Challenge Blog - distressing
3. CCEE Stampers - distress your papers
4. CES challenges - flowers and flutterbys
5. CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS - in the garden
6. Die cut Dreams Challenge blog - spring garden scene
7. OLLCB - pink, pink, and more pink
8. PaperCrafting Journey - anything goes
9. Paper Romance Challenges - anything goes
10. The Corrosive Challenge Blog!! - distressing
11. Wild Orchid Challenges - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and can't wait to see your creations for both of these challenges!

I'm the first! Yipee!

Love the little sheep, such a happy face, he must be excited about Easter and of course spring, who wouldn't be after the winter we have had on the mainland. Love the colors you picked and the purple you don't like so much anymore compliments your color scheme perfectly. Oh I remember those purple days, especially that little purple jacket that you wore out. Probably have a picture of you in it somewhere...
Have a great day. Love, SAM aka MOM
