Back to School busy-ness!

Aloha! Well, some of you are getting ready to go back to school this coming week (yeah, mom) but for some of us (me!) we'll be starting our 4th week of school...UGH!!! With all the back to school supplies in the stores (since late June here) I've had this card bouncing around in my head for weeks. I'm sure I've seen something like it before but not recently so I'm taking credit for it! :) I simply did a 4"x9" black card base and then added the pink, silver, yellow and brown pieces. The tag is a sentiment stamp from Imagience. Here's some challenges that this one was inspired by:
1. Craft Your Days Away Challenge - Anything goes
2. Cute Card Thursday - back to school
3. Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges - back to school
4. Frosted Designs - twine or ribbon
5. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge  - back to school
6. Raise the Bar - back to school
7. Simply Create Too - back to school
8. Stamping with Dragon - any shape other than rectangle or square
9. There She Goes - back to school

Next up are a couple of cards that I made at the request of co-workers. These are probably the hardest for me to make because I usually don't know the people that are receiving them so it's hard for me to personalize them! So I ask myriad questions of the requesters and have them look at samples to get an idea of what they're looking for. So here's what I came up.

The first one is based on another card I did awhile ago. Used the same patterned papers (SU! Bali Breeze DSP) but added some silver, changed the layout and a different stamp set (SU! Gifts from the Orient). Images are colored with copics. I also had the requester find a sentiment for the inside (thank you Hallmark!).  Challenges this one fits include:
1. 365 Cards - Squared - square card with at least 2 more squares
2. Delightful challenges - punches and dies
3. Fresh Brewed Challenge - no digis - use a rubber stamp
4. OLLCB - oriental
5. Paper Pretties - anything goes
6. Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog - anniversary or wedding

This next one is for a baby and used a punch art owl that I found on Splitcoast Stampers. I came up with the diaper and added a bow. The patterned paper on this one is SU! Tea Party DSP. The sentiment is SU! Riveting set. I used a Joy Fold pattern and the sentiment on the inside is from my favorite bear, Winnie-the-Pooh!

Challenges for this one include:
1. 365 Cards - Muted
2. Bearly Mine Challenges - anything with wings
3. Creatalicious Challenges - baby theme
4. CREATIVE BELLI BLOG - winged things
5. Papertake Weekly Challenge  - spots 'n' stripes
6. Sassy Studio Designs - pop it up
7. The Cutie Pie Challenge - spots & stripes

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great week!
Aloha,
