My card for this week is a combination of this Wednesday's 365 Cards challenge which is called "Colorful Background" (need to stamp in 4 colors on the background) and the progressive challenge at Delightful Inspiration which is using Autumn Mums.
So to create my "colorful background" I took the Autumn Mum Cluster image and changed the line color in Photoshop Elements (check out Faith's tutorial on how to do that here). The colors were matched via RGB code to Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, and Old Olive. I then copy, pasted, tilted, enlarged/shrunk the image in a Word Doc and printed it out...colorful background done! Then it was just a matter of coloring the image with Copics and putting the finishing touches on it! Viola!
Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge - Autumn Days
2. Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge - Autumn
3. Creative Card Crew - easel card
4. Critter Sketch Challenge Blog - anything goes

365 Cards - Day 205 - Summer Vacation Masculine Style
Aloha and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday at 365 Cards! Our sponsor this week is Tradefish Designs and I got to use part of the set from "Pass the Sunblock". I went with no embellishments but used a lot of texture with sandpaper for the sand (how appropriate is that?!?) and corkpaper for the sandcastle. The palm tree is paper pieced with a woodgrain paper and just a little fun polka dot paper for the leaves. The background paper is Bo Bunny and the cloud dies are Taylored Expressions. Here's some other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. Anything Goes Challenge Blog - anything goes
2. Catch The Bug Challenge Blog - create a scene
3. Craft Us Crazy - goodbye to summer/school theme
4. Crafty Sentiments - Happy Birthday
5. CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS - let's celebrate
6. Cute Card Thursday - anything goes

If you're hopping along you probably got here from Kathy Curry's blog..isn't her creation fab?!? Here's what I came up with using the Christmas Wishes image (isn't this little mouse just adorable!?!)...
I also used the new Butter Grunge and Riding Hood Gingham digital papers from the D2D store (check'em out here! Other than those fab things, the image is colored with Copic markers, the sentiment on the tag is computer generated, and then there's a bit of ribbon.

If you get lost, go back to the beginning here. OH! And be sure to leave a comment on this post...one random commenter will win a $3 gift certificate to the D2D shop. 365 Cards - Day 198 & Back to School with D2D
Aloha! Today's challenge at 365 Cards is to have a "Standout Sentiment"! Well as usual, I took this literal and went with a pretty much sentiment only card...well, with that super cool "Domestic Goddess" patterned paper from SU! but other than that, it's the sentiment! And that sentiment just cracks me up (and it's a motto I try to live by!) ;)
Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. CardPatterns - sketch
2. Catch The Bug Challenge Blog - punches or die cuts: my sentiment and the little flowers are both nestabilities
3. Craft Your Days Away Challenge - make your own flowers
4. Craft your passion challenges - use the "F" word: mine is "flowers"
5. CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS - anything goes (20)
6. Delicious Doodles challenges - fresh start: my something fresh is the patterned paper (thanks mom!)
7. Easy Craft Projects - Challenges - yellow
8. Lollipop Crafts - eyelets/brads: the center of my flowers are snap eyelets
9. Some Odd Girl Challenge blog - stitching
10. Stamp Something - stamp something: my sentiment is a rubber stamp
11. The Corrosive Challenge Blog - funny or use a pun
12. I Did it Creations Challenge - anything goes
13. One Stitch At A Time Challenge - anything goes
14. Totally Stampalicious - anything goes
Next up is my sample for this week's Designer's challenge at Delightful Inspiration (D2D) which is "back to school."
I did another supersized image shape card! This is from the Apple a Day set and was enlarged to about 5.5x6". I paper pieced the image with SU! Summer Picnic DSP and then created the sentiment on the computer and printed it out. The button is actually a brad and was backed with a felt flower and some twine. Here's some other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. Bearly Mine Challenges - button it up
2. Challenge up your life - paper piecing
3. Crafts and Me - buttons and bows
4. Crafty Creations Challenges - anything but a square
5. Crafty Sentiments - spots and sentiments
6. Cupcake Craft Challenges - back to school
7. Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - back to school
8. If The Shoe fits... Scrap It! - back to school
9. Speedy the Cat’s Friends Challenge - use a punch: the tag is a punch
10. Phindy’s Friday challenge - stripes
11. Simply Create - here comes the bus (back to school)
12. Stamp-n-doodle - back to school
13. Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday - thank you
14. The Friday Mashup! - stitching
15. There's Magic In The Air - shaped card
16. TotallyPaperCrafts - cute with buttons
