Day 254-Hung up Snowman

My dear mother (Stamping by SAM) challenged me to do a card a night this week rather than doing my work. Well, never let it be said I don't listen to my mother! (Okay, I didn't listen to her last night, but I did tonight...better late than never right?!? And she'll probably say I usually don't listen to her, otherwise why would I live so far away from her...hum, let's think about that!) :)

Anyway, here's my submission for Monday's challenge at 365. Got the idea for the card from Splitcoaststampers (see tutorial here). I made mine a bit smaller (it's a little less than 4" tall) and added the hanger at the top. OH!!! Just realized I should've put white dots on the snowman's scarf too. Well, I'll go back and do that later! Here's a side view so you can see the layers and one of the inside with the sentiment. TFL!

Kim, this is your father...I just came in from the shop and it appears your mother has fainted on the floor...wait...she's mumbling somethin'...sounds like..."she listened to me...beautiful card...make me one"...better go now, she's a movin' around...boy she's grouchy after fainting...Love, Daddy Jim

Love your card Kim! So glad that it only took you 33? 34? years to listen to mama! I do, however, think it was a bit rude of you to make her faint! Your poor daddy Jim was probably worried sicker than he already was!!! Great job sweetie on your card - always enjoy seeing what you post - sure am glad you started a blog!!!
