365 Cards - Day 23 - GHI & D2D challenge reminder!

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday at 365 Cards...hard to believe were already in week 4! Whew, time flies. Wanted to make a shout out to our new teamies, DeBea, Jennifer and Annie! E komo mai (welcome) to the team ladies...it's going to be fun year!!

So today's ABC's of Crafting are the letters G, H, and I...which stand for grosgrain, hearts and ink. The Hippie Chick image just screamed to me for this one, so here's what I came up with!

(sorry the color is a bit off...I haven't quite figured out PSE 8!!)

Boy was she fun to color! That pink ribbon is grosgrain, hearts are on the paper, and the ink (other than the computer ink to print out the image and to color with copics!) is the two small panels with pink and orange (I brayered those colors on white cs).

And as usual, here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. Charisma Cardz Challenges! - To "Die" for - use die cuts
2. Easy Craft Projects - Challenges - For Mum: well it's not a mother's day card but I did think of my mom when coloring this image...it's how I imagine she looked in the 60's! (well except for the bellybutton showin'!)
3. i{heart}2stamp - sketch
4. My Time To Craft Challenge - Ladies day
5. Paper Cutz Challenge - your choice
6. Paper Romance Challenges - COLOR! (as many as possible)
7. The Crafty Pad - use a digi image
8. The Shabby Tea Room - bingo (brads, flowers, ribbon)

Also here's a creation for this week's D2D Card Ideas challenge. This week were were asked to use a "yummy" color challenge! The colors are chocolate, caramel and one other (mine is red!). You have until Friday to play along and you could win a free image! I used the freebie from Delightful Inspiration again. If you didn't get it free, you can buy in the store, play along and get the next one free! I colored it with prismapencils and OMS, then covered in glassy accents, and fussy cut it out. Then made a little tag and attached with twine.

Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - get well cards
2. CardPatterns - sketch
3. Do you Stack up - add a bow
4. Freshly Brewed Challenge - spots and dots
5. Incy Wincy Designs - embossing: kinda hard to see but the brown panel is embossed with swiss dots folder
6. Meljens Design Team and Challenge: use dots
7. Paper Sundaes - embossing
8. PaperPlay Challenges - embossing
9. Truly Scrumptious  - tag it

Thanks for stopping by and here's wishing you have a Terrific Thursday!
Aloha,

This card certainly takes me back in time! Long hair, bell bottoms, peace sign, flowers, but wait - never the belly button showing! Wonderful coloring and the color looks great, can't tell it's off at all!
Great job on the buggy card too. Fussy cutting is so much fun...NOT...but you are very good at it. Have a great day. Love, SAM aka MOM
