365 Cards - Day 9 - Do That Decade: The 90's & Going Green with D2D

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday at my blog! My first card up is for Day 9 - Do that Decade: The 90's at 365 Cards. This one was hard for me. I graduated high school and college in the 90's, but for some reason I couldn't recall any trends or fads! So after a little research and being reminded of "grunge rock" out of Seattle which then reminded me of coffee, I came up with this card. I grunged it up with ink, embossed/ sanded core-dinations paper, and torn paper, then "rocked" it with the sentiment and music paper (please ignore that it's actually Christmas paper! It's the only music paper I had!), and finished it up with this fab MTF Who's that Girl stamp! So what will the Decade of the 90's inspire in you?!?

Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. A Spoon Full of Sugar  - Vintage/Shabby theme: I think the "grunge" is pretty "shabby" and "grunge" is almost vintage!
2. Aly's Sunday Challenge - anything goes
3. Craft your passion challenges - anything goes
4. Creative Card Crew - no flowers
5. Let's Ink It Up - embossing + hand stamped image
6. Mojo Monday - sketch
7. PaperPlay Challenges - shabby chic/vintage
8. Stampin' B's Design Team - strike up the band (something music related)
9. The Crazy Challenge - lovely ladies

Next up is my sample for the current challenge at the D2D Card Ideas blog. This week's challenge is "going green" by using recycled elements. Well, I made that little silver shamrock out of a nut can topper! I also used the Lucky Bird image which is still free for everyone, so dropped by and get yours at
Delightful Inspiration and join us for the challenges!

2. Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Die Cuts: the image was cut out and matted with die cuts
