365 Cards - Day 37 - Pure Contentment & D2D Spotty Dotty

aaaaaaahhhhhh, welcome to another wonderful Wednesday challenge at 365 Cards and D2D!!! My {sigh} is for the first sample which is for today's challenge at 365 Cards. Pam wants to see your images of "pure contentment". This little Asian doll image from Heart Strings was perfect for this!! I colored her with Copics and used Basic Grey Kioshi paper. Blinged it up a bit and finished it off with a white satin ribbon. This is a Tri-Shutter card so here's picture of it opened.
The quote on the inside says, "One good friend is worth a thousand relatives."

Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. allsorts challenge blog - bloomin' blossoms

I've been wanting to try a one layer card and this embossed Nestie frame for awhile and this seemed to be good time to do it! Faith has a tutorial on the Delightful Inspiration blog if you want to know how to emboss a Nestie frame.  I kept it really simple for this one...

Wow, Kim, both cards are super! I have yet to do a tri-shutter. *sigh* I haven't done a frame with a die either! Altho I think it makes a card look so elegant. Maybe I should make a list of types of cards to try...
