Couple of mid-week creations

This is a card that I created for my boss on Sunday evening, using a Karen's Doodles image. It reminded me of my puppy and since my boss has my puppy's almost identical sister, I thought this was appropriate! Plus, both of them are known for ripping the stuffing out of their toys. :) Paper is SU! and the sentiment was computer-generated. Layout was inspired by this week's Get Sketchy challenge

Then next one was created for Mo's Digital Challenge Blog:
Here's the challenge "Use white or cream cardstock, your image from Mo's Digital Pencil, and one ribbon.. it's that simple... and, no additional layers!". I kept to that but I did emboss around the image, but since some of the DT had scored lines on theirs I figured it was okay. Colors for this one were inspired by Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge (white, ballet blue, night of navy, old olive, kraft). Except for the old olive ribbon, I used all the other colors in coloring the image (hard tell to but the stripes on the shirt and the socks are the ballet blue color, everything else is pretty obvious). Also submitting this one to this week's Cupcake Craft Challenges which was "friends". [I don't know about you but my puppy is never more my friend than when she thinks I have something for her to eat :)] I was also inspired by the Fab 'n Funky challenge of "It's Childish", Humble Pie (use only one type of embellishment), Incy Wincy Designs (add some texture), Lexi's Creations (anything goes), and Sophisti-cat (embossing).

Thanks for coming by and hope to hear from you soon!

HI! Great card, I love the image you've chosen here! And you colouring is stunning! My cat sounds the same as your puppy, his friendly feelings sometimes arise from his tummy! Thanks for joining us at Cupcake and good luck!

Great card! Love the embossed hearts. Glad you joined us in Mo's Challenge this week.

Love your first card - so Malie! Can I tell everyone that you have spent a fortune on doggie toys and she rips them all to pieces - and - dont' dare leave a dirty kleenex laying around (GAG)

The 2nd card is so both our doggies. Buddy only eats what you eat. If he won't take a treat (turns his nose up so to speak) I just 'pretend' I'm eating it and then he is all over it trying to get it away from me!

Great cards Kimmie, have a great day.
Love, SAM aka MOM
