Sharky Shark, Get Well Soon

Aloha all! Well, I got to do another kinda fun card today. Kinda fun as it does have a purpose, a get well card for a co-worker. Just a quick story to explain the image on the card. A couple of weeks ago we had a training that included a quiz to determine our conflict resolution "style." They were all animal-based and this co-worker came up as a "shark"...and we teased her about it. So I thought this was an appropriate image ;) Now for the red spots all over the shark...no he's not splattered in blood, he has chicken pox! Yes, my co-worker who is in her early 20's came down with a severe case of chicken pox this week! OUCH! I made it into a spinner card for fun. Here's the inside:

Here's the other challenges for this card:
1. colourQ - color-inspiration: Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Suede, White
2. Lots To Do - embossing
3. Mojo Monday - sketch
4. My Time to Craft challenge - On the Spot
5. One stop Craft challenge - On the Move (moving item on the card)
6. Saturday Challenge - get well

I also threw together a "don't scratch kit" to keep her hands busy while she's getting better. I went to the Hoops and Yoyo website and printed out a bunch of stuff for her to color, cut out, and play with. Here's the cover of that:
(sorry didn't get this photo cropped)

Well that's probably it for this weekend as I have to do my taxes tomorrow :( and I'll probably be too depressed after that to create anything else...but come back Monday for another Magical Monday post!
Aloha,

Poor Peaches - she would probably rather be at work than going through the itchy spot syndrome! I know this will help her feel better, she always appreciates what you make. By the way, could she bake me a cake while she's off work?!? tee-hee!

Can't wait to see your card at Magic in the Air in the morning, I hope I wake up early enough to be the first to comment! OK now it's my turn to post, give me a couple minutes though to get it done. Love, SAM aka MOM
