Happy late Saturday/early Sunday morning everyone! Sunday is very special day as not only is it Father's Day (Happy Father's Day, Dad!!), it's also my wonderful mother's birthday (Hau'oli la hanau, mother dear!)!!! Although I can't celebrate with them in person, they are definitely in my thoughts and best wishes! Of course, you would think that as a card crafter I would've gotten cards to them at least...but no...didn't get them in the mail :( ... but my excuse is I'm waiting on some stuff I ordered for a present for my mom and then I'll send it all together...yeah, that's it...I wanted to save postage!!! hehehe!
Anyway, here's my fun Saturday card! See the deets in the list of challenges below...
1. A Spoon Full of Sugar - Sunshine inspired card: I was inspired to use a lot of yellow on this one!
2. Challenge up your Life - Vintage: well, this was my attempt at shabby vintage...not sure I quite got it...I thought the distressing (the edges of the papers, with ink, and some rumpling of paper), lace and pearls gave it that air
3. Crazy 4 Challenges - Flowers: I made the flowers using my boho blossoms SU! punch
4. Dare you to digi stamp - Blooms and Butterflies + digi: I don't have a good butterfly punch so used that butterfly paper by American Crafts
5. Delightful Inspiration - image and sentiment: you can find this image and sentiment in the Designed2Delight Digi Stamp store
6. digital tuesday challenge - Easel card + digi
7. Fun with Shapes and more - Flowers + something punched/cut out: see above
8. KL Stampin N Scrappin Blog - Let's Get Shabby: again this is my attempt...vintage and shabby go together for me...
9. Lots To Do - Quotations
10. Meljen’s Designs - Fibers, Ribbon, or Lace
11. PaperPlay Challenges - use some of your old stash: I've had the Groovy Guava CA and DSP for awhile...
12. Stamp Something - Something Summery: I think these colors and the image are summery

14. There She Goes - Worn, Torn, Distress: see above
15. Truly Scrumptious - sketch + optional extra of gingham: might be hard to tell but that yellow paper on the bottom of the front is a gingham print
16. ….wee Memories… - Let's Get Sticky: those pearls are sticky

Your Daddy Jim and I thank you for the Birthday/Father's Day wishes! We slept in late today (8AM) of course it helps when you go to bed after midnight to sleep in the next day!
