365 Cards - Day 269 - Vintage + Distressing

Welcome to the Vintage Love Blog Hop at 365 Cards!!! The fabulous Gloria Stengel is sponsoring us this week with great vintage goodies from Graphic 45 which we got to use on our cards and you get the chance to win some for yourself!! Lucky you! Check out the 365 Cards Extra Blog for all the details!

You should've gotten to me from the 365 Cards blog or Audrey's Tuesday challenge. So my ingredient for the today's challenge is distressing...anyway you like. I used a tool on the edge and ink on mine. I also incorporated almost every other ingredient before me!! The only thing I forgot was a die cut...sorry Tesa! Although this isn't my typical style I had fun creating it. Hope you have fun creating your vintage+ creation!

Your next stop on the hop will be my fellow teamie from Missouri, Hannah!
Here's a few other challenges I was inspired by for this one (but remember you can only do one other challenge this week!)
1. A Spoon Full of Sugar - Anything goes
2. Creatalicious Challenges - sketch + distressing
3. For Fun Challenges - anything goes
4. Frosted Designs - distressing
5. Kaboodle Doodles Challenge - 1 solid paper, 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments6. No Time To Stamp? - fruits of the harvest
7. My Time To Craft Challenge - tag along
8. Party Time Tuesdays - 1 image, 2 designer papers, 3 different types of embellishments
Aloha,

Lovely my dear Kim! Gloria sure shared some wonderful supplies with you. So much so that I even went 'window shopping' last night to see what else Graphic 45 has to offer. Got to say I put some on my wish list (don't tell your dad!) Back to the card. Looks like to me that you have incorporated all the challenge so far this week in your card. But your challenge today of distressing is perfect, if I say so myself and it's not just because I like, no make that, love everything you do! I'm such a proud mother! Have a great day. Love SAM aka MOM

I love distressing! I do it to everything..lol. Kim your card looks Great! Love the colors...and the Gingham ribbon. Nice work on distressing the edges of the pp and then sewing! Really pops off the black. Great sentiment too! TFS!

Kim, Great card! I love all the distressin' and look forward to adding this technique to the recipe list:)

Also, great idea to add each preceding recipe item to your card...that way it won't be overwhelming when it gets to Saturday. I may have to try that myself:)

So you managed to get almost every ingredient on your card. And it´s a beautiful one too!
Think you just found yourself a new cardmaking style... = )

hmmm I could rock your ingredient of 'distressing' if it applied to the maker rather than the card!! chortle. Despite the terror I'm really enjoying the way you guys have put together this week's blog hopping.
