Well, technically as I write this it's still the 4th of July in Hawaii and the fireworks haven't even started, but I know for some of you it's already the 5th so you're in your post-fireworks slumber. And if you're not in the USA you're probably just glad that all this red, white and blue stuff is over! ;) I love the holidays as I get an extra day to make cards! Well, at least start cards! I've got multiple ones to share with you this week but I'll start with the one that's completely done!

Next, week is Malie's (my dog's) 3rd birthday and as we've done every year, she and her siblings (and their owners) are getting together to celebrate (I know, dorky aren't we?!?). This card is for her sister Pomai and even though I said it's finished I didn't get a picture of the inside to prove it to you! UGH! Oh well, I printed "to another great Bark-day" on the inside and trimmed it at the top and bottom with scraps of the orange and green patterned papers. This super cute image is one I won from Bugaboo and it was so much fun to color! You probably can't tell in the picture but I added glassy accents on the surfboard and the sunglasses. Other than that, it's pretty self-explanatory! :) Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
