365 Cards - Day 163 - Setting the Scene

Aloha and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday at 365 Cards! Today's challenge is a "Setting the Scene" challenge and Pam wants to see your underwater scenes!! YAY! Pam didn't know this but the Little Mermaid is one of my all time favorite movies and with these cute images (the mermaid, fish and seaweed scene) from Digi Delights I created my own Little Mermaid and Flounder scene! Everything is colored with Copics and though it's hard to tell in the picture, I colored over the scales and tail of the mermaid with a starburst pen to get it some sparkle! The sentiment is a line from the "Under the Sea" song and it's makes me smile everytime I hear it (and yes I have the soundtrack to this movie!) Here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. Alota Rubber Stamps - Bingo (glitter, stamp, and ribbon)
2. Catch The Bug Challenge Blog - anything goes
3. Copic Creations - landscape: mine is an underwater one!
4. Craft Us Crazy - anything goes
5. Craft your passion challenges - under the sea
6. Crafts and Me - anything goes
7. digital tuesday challenge - I love the sea + digi
8. Frosted Designs - coloring
9. Incy Wincy Designs - something old and something new: my old is the Taken with Teal cardstock and the new is the ribbon
10. Paper Playtime - water
11. Paper Pretties - die cuts
12. Raise the Bar - anything goes
13. Sassy Studio Designs - sentiment on front of card
14. Stamp Something - digi day
15. The Sweet Stop - sketch
16. There's Magic In The Air - animal image
17. Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog - beautiful borders

Thanks for stopping by and can't wait to see your underwater scenes!
Aloha,

I'm doin' the 'click and enlarge' again with this card so I can 'sea' all the details. Your coloring is FAB - U -LOUSE! I'm think you are such a natural at shading and choosing colors. (You really should be the teacher of copic techniques) Love your pattern paper, the wave border is perfection for this scene, and I'm in love with that little flounder! And that white ruffled ribbon is the perfect ending for a day under the sea!
Have a great day DD! Love, SAM aka MOM
