365 Cards - Day 255 - Blow Art

Aloha and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday with 365 Cards! Today's challenge is "Blow Art" or should I say "Pass out art"?!? I really think Pam is trying to kill me or maybe that's just the lack of oxygen to the brain that's making me think that! Well, I'm happy to say I survived and after many attempts came up with this creation. I ended up using glossy cardstock so the ink would move around and to keep the colors from blending to a muddy brown I blotted the extra ink off between colors. The colors dulled a lot more than I thought they would. So here's the other challenges I was inspired by for this one:
1. BasicGrey Challenges - sketch + one Basic Grey item: the patterned paper is Indian Summer BG
2. Catch The Bug Challenge Blog - anything goes
3. City Crafter Challenge Blog -  Thank you
4. Creative Card Crew - Thanks
5. Fairy Fun Friday - make your own flowers
6. Hand Stamped Sentiments - fall inspiration photo
7. Let's Ink It Up - Recycle It: I used a piece of packing cardboard for the circle on the layout and the image (Prickley Pear) and sentiment (SU!) are stamped
8. Mark's Finest Papers – Speedy the Cat’s Friends Challenge - piercing: may be hard to tell but the patterned paper piece is pierced
9. Order of the Opus Gluei: attitude of gratitude
10. Raise The Bar - Let's see those curves

Can't wait to see your blow art!
Aloha,

Love your 'blow art'! The background looks like big fall spider mums! The background and image are perfect together! Wonderful colors for a fall card.
And by the way...if it makes you pass out, what do you think it will do for the 'older' generation making cards with this technique? Not that I'm one of them, I'm just saying...

Love, SAM aka MOM

Well, look at you - oh crafty one! This is terrific. You made me laugh with pass out art, I'm with you there and I haven't even tried out this technique!

Beautiful results, though, I love the rich coloring (you may think they are more muted but I think they're perfect).

Thank you for participating with us at Opus Gluei for our challenge!
