Living in Paradise: 365 Cards - Day 311

Aloha and welcome to the first wonderful Wednesday 365 Cards post of the new year!! As everyone says, "I can't believe it's already 2011!" Where does the time go?!? Oh well, a whole new year cards to make...can't wait to see what Pam comes up with for 365 Cards!! :) So she kinda took it easy on us today and wants to see a "texting" type sentiment on your card. This was a PERFECT challenge for me as I've been researching this as I convinced my mom to get a cell phone and upgrade our family plan to include texting...so I was trying to catch up on the abbreviations...gotta admit a lot of what I found was just using the first letter of each work of the phrase you want to type...not sure that would make sense to everyone! I found this one "143" and liked that it stands for "I love you"! Perfect sentiment for these cute frogs from Robyn's Fetish! Here's some other challenges I was inspired by for this one:

4. I Did it Creations Challenge - favorite technique: right now mine is coloring with copics...must...get...more!!

8. Papertake Weekly Challenge - anything goes
9. Saturday Challenge - buttons & bows
10. Totally Gorjuss - something for someone special
11. Tuesday Throwdown - embossing
12. Whoopsi Daisy Challenge - Free and easy

STAMPING SAM said...: WOW, Love the vibrant red and green of your 'toadily' awesome card! And for the texting lesson, yes, I do need to learn the 'shorthand' of quick texting. It's so hard though when you work with elementary students and constantly teach correct spelling!!! Your coloring is perfect for the toads and I can only end this comment with "143!" too!
